(Coca-Cola Route)

  • Duration: 5-6 days.

1. Marangu Route

(Whiskey Route)

  • Scenery: Renowned for its breathtaking views, the Machame Route takes trekkers through lush rainforests, scenic moorlands, and alpine deserts, presenting the diverse landscapes of Mount Kilimanjaro.

  • Difficulty: Known as one of the more challenging Kilimanjaro routes, the Machame Route features steep and demanding terrain, although it offers a gradual ascent, which presents an optimal balance between acclimatization and challenge, and a high success rate.

2. Machame Route

3. Lemosho Route

  • Scenery: Starting from the northern side of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Rongai Route, offers a unique and quieter trekking experience, through lush rainforests, alpine meadows, and volcanic landscapes, with stunning views of Kilimanjaro’s eastern slopes.

  • Difficulty: The Rongai Route is generally considered one of the easier routes to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, featuring a gradual ascent and a well-defined path. Its manageable difficulty level makes it ideal for trekkers of varying experience.

4. Rongai Route
