Hadzabe & Maasai

The Hadzabe, also known as the Original Bushmen of Tanzania, live near Lake Eyasi and maintain a traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle. They hunt with bows and arrows, and forage for food in the wild, just as their ancestors have done for centuries.

The Maasai are one of Africa's most iconic and culturally rich tribes, with an estimated population of up to 2 million. Known for their vibrant robes, and traditional singing and dancing, they live as semi-nomadic cattle herders across the East African savannah.

Lake Eyasi

Known for its dramatic landscapes and unique biodiversity, Lake Eyasi is a shallow, seasonal salt lake located in the area southern of the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Although the lake's water levels fluctuate greatly, especially during the dry season, it remains an important habitat for flamingos and other bird species.
